Development of a Society is the development of a Nation
India ranks 129 out of 189 countries on the HDI (Human Development Index, 2019) released by the UN Development Program. It clearly indicates that the inequality and depravation in the community remains high.
The Mother Teresa Foundation launched the Community Development Program as one of its first initiatives to solve these societal issues.
The Foundation provides the vulnerable with necessary supplies and guidance to alleviate their suffering.

Help for the affected differently abled family for suitable Shelter
Mr. Bhagyaraj, who is polio affected and his family from Vaidhyanathanpettai, Thiruvaiyaru, Thanjavur District were severely affected due to torrential rain. The house was totally damaged rendering them homeless. MTF stepped in to help them.

World Disability Day
The essence of World Disability Day is to mobilize support for the dignity, equal social status and opportunities for the well being of differently abled and create self confidence.

The Mother Teresa Foundation in association with The District Administration of Thanjavur is engaged in constructing homes for the needy.

Relief Materials to Poverty Stricken Nomads
On behalf of Mother Teresa Foundation Mr. TKG. Neelamegam, MLA Thanjavur distributed rice and groceries to 32 homeless families as Diwali gifts to tide over the misery.
