Investment in child development ensures the future of a Nation
Children in the lower strata of the society are gripped by uncertainty about their future mainly because of the untimely demise of their parents, absent fathers, single mothers, parents who suffer from prolonged illness. In these circumstances the future of such children is jeopardized.
To help these children, The Mother Teresa Foundation operates The Mother Teresa Anbu Illam (Orphanage) to provide parental care and fulfil all their basic necessities. The home is registered under The Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act 2015.
