In the spirit of Diwali, the festival of lights, an exceptional celebration unfolded at the Mother Teresa Joy Home for the aged in Thanjavur. On the 6th of November 2023, a heartwarming Diwali program was organized by the Bharath Group of Institutions. This event brought together young hearts and wise souls, creating a memorable celebration that warmed the hearts of all who participated. Mother Teresa Foundation’s Chairman, Rtn. Dr. AR. Savarimuthu, addressed the gathering and gave an inaugural speech, adding a special touch to the occasion.

The cultural program was an enchanting spectacle, with students from Navina High School, Thiruvonam, taking the stage to showcase their talents. Under the guidance of Mrs. Vinoliya, the Principal of Navina High School, the students’ performances spread joy and happiness among the senior citizens.

The celebrations continued with games designed to entertain and engage the senior citizens. The winners were rewarded with prizes, creating an atmosphere of friendly competition and shared laughter.
