Development of a Society is the development of a Nation
India ranks 129 out of 189 countries on the HDI (Human Development Index, 2019) released by the UN Development Program. It clearly indicates that the inequality and depravation in the community remains high.
The Mother Teresa Foundation launched the Community Development Program as one of its first initiatives to solve these societal issues.
The Foundation provides the vulnerable with necessary supplies and guidance to alleviate their suffering.

Free shelter to vulnerable
We conducted Boomi Pooja for the construction of new house for a vulnerable family at Vadakkur in collaboration with District administration today.

Reaching out vulnerables by providing basic essentials every month
Foundation extended helping hand to 32 suffering families by taking care of their monthly needs.

On the feast day of St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta, we honor her merciful and preferential love for the poor and forgotten.

Marking the 111th birthday of St. Mother Teresa and 2nd anniversary of Mother Teresa Joy home (Old Age Home), we are making it special by joining hands with you through our Amudhasurabhi Free Meal Program.
This program feeds 600+ people EVERYDAY through out the year which costs ₹7500/day.
