Development of a Society is the development of a Nation
India ranks 129 out of 189 countries on the HDI (Human Development Index, 2019) released by the UN Development Program. It clearly indicates that the inequality and depravation in the community remains high.
The Mother Teresa Foundation launched the Community Development Program as one of its first initiatives to solve these societal issues.
The Foundation provides the vulnerable with necessary supplies and guidance to alleviate their suffering.

Foundation observes International disability day
Pullcart was provided to a transgender to start a business. Wheel chairs, tea cans and crutches were given to disabled people.

Help to confront challenge
The Foundation provided financial assistance to Mr. Chithravel who is visually impaired to start his own business.

International Day for the Eradication of Poverty
Mother Teresa Foundation strives best for Eradication of Poverty. Foundation is going to construct a house for a poor fatherless family who were affected by cyclone Gaja 2 years before.

Foundation caring for the abandoned
Chairman, after interviewing a senior citizen seeking admission in our Joy Home, decides to provide accommodation on hearing his pitiable condition.
