Development of a Society is the development of a Nation
India ranks 129 out of 189 countries on the HDI (Human Development Index, 2019) released by the UN Development Program. It clearly indicates that the inequality and depravation in the community remains high.
The Mother Teresa Foundation launched the Community Development Program as one of its first initiatives to solve these societal issues.
The Foundation provides the vulnerable with necessary supplies and guidance to alleviate their suffering.

Induction of Mr. Selvin Chinnaiah as Honorary Vice Chairman
We are happy to announce a new and important addition to our Mother Teresa Foundation team and we welcome Mr. Selvin Chinnaiah as the Honorary Vice Chairman of our Foundation.
A vibrant and creative MBA graduate who has always been volunteering with us for several years and has shown immense interest in the activites of our Foundation.
As a Vice Chairman, he will give his best to contribute for our development and we wish him good luck and look forward to his journey with our Foundation.

Recognition by Newspapers
Local newspapers have mentioned about Mother Teresa Foundation regarding its help to 10 tribal families who were provided with day-to-day essentials in Pattukottai, Thanjavur.
Feeding the Hungry
The Foundation feeds around 500 people everyday in Thanjavur. The Covid-19 pandemic is testing humanity and this is the time to help one and other by doing even the most small contributions.
