Free Tricycle provided to a Differently-abled couple

A tricycle was provided for free to a differently-abled couple under the Mother Teresa Foundation’s Community Development Program.

The husband was born with disability and the wife who had been brought up in an orphanage after being abandoned as a baby; had suffered polio attack at the age of 3. They were ostracised from their family after marriage.

The Husband works in a milk dispensary and the wife works from home making floral garlands. They live in a rented house, they do not have any children.

The Foundation recognised their plight and offered help under the Community Development Program by providing them with a free Tricycle to help them with their mobility and ease their difficulty.
