Our chairman Dr. AR Savarimuthu visited the free meal distribution point at The Thanjavur Medical College as part of our Amudhasurabhi Free Meal Program. He spoke to the various beneficiaries at the location and learned how better we can be of service.

This program has been continuously in operation since April 2020 providing one nutritious meal a day for free at various locations across Thanjavur. On average we distribute around 650 meals everyday.

The primary beneficiaries of this program are the attenders of patients who are long term admittees of the Thanjavur Medical College due to various illnesses including COVID-19. For many of them this is the only proper meal they consume every day.

The food is prepared in our FSSAI licensed kitchen at The Mother Teresa Anbu Illam (Orphanage)
