Life support Equipments to the differently abled and Transgender

Function was held at Thanjavur under the auspices of Mother Teresa Foundation on 15th instant to provide life support equipments to over 300 differently abled and 20 Trans to mark International Day of Disabled Persons. Hon’ble Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, Minister for school education Tamil Nadu handed over the equipments to the beneficiaries in the presence of Thiru. T.K.G Neelamegam, MLA, Thanjavur and Thiru. Durai Chandrasekaran, MLA, Thiruvaiyaru, Thiru. Kovi Chezhian, MLA and chief Govt. whip and hosts of Government officials. The equipments so provided include artificial limbs, wheel chair, tricycles, audio device with pendrive and headset, hearing aids, sewing machines, pushcarts, to the differently abled and and equipments including gas cylinder, stove, generator fitted on a pushcart to group of 20 Trans and dance materials for those proficient in dancing books for one of the Trans for preparing for entrance test for SI post. Besides 39 vulnerable families were given rice, groceries, medicines, dresses and monetary assistance and 32 economically poor students and smart phones.

To mark International Disability Day, Foundation provided Life support equipments to over 300 differently abled and 20 Trans in the function held at Thanjavur.
