🌟 The 115th Birthday Celebration of St Mother Teresa: Inspiring Hope Through Service

Honoring the Legacy of Compassion

The Mother Teresa 115th Birthday Celebration was observed in a grand and heartfelt manner at Mother Teresa Foundation, Thanjavur. The event was headed by renowned actor and industrialist Mr. Durai Sudhahar, while the Deputy Mayor Dr. Anchugam Boopathi joined as the chief guest. Both leaders praised the relentless humanitarian work of the Mother Teresa Foundation, which continues to uplift thousands of underprivileged families across Tamil Nadu.

This celebration wasn’t just a gathering—it was a reminder of Saint Mother Teresa’s timeless message of love, compassion, and service to humanity.

Welfare Activities to Commemorate the Day

To mark the occasion, the Foundation carried out a series of impactful welfare initiatives, benefiting children, single mothers, and differently-abled women.

  • 10 meritorious students from Grades 10, 11, and 12 who scored 90% and above in their public exams were honored with special cash awards and certificates of appreciation.

👩‍👧 Support for Single Mothers

📑 Access to Government Welfare Schemes

Through its Free E-Service Program, the Foundation consistently bridges the gap between government schemes and vulnerable families. During the event, 19 single mothers received their much-needed government certificates (widow, deserted women, community, and income certificates), enabling them to avail benefits such as pensions, grants, and education support for their children.

A Celebration of Hope and Joy

The event concluded with an inspirational address by Dr. A.R. Savarimuthu, Chairman of the Mother Teresa Foundation, who emphasized the importance of service, compassion, and the organization’s ongoing commitment to the marginalized.

To mark the occasion:
