Mother Teresa Foundation continued its mission to empower single mothers by organizing a camp in Thirukanurpatti village, Thanjavur district. The initiative helped 149 single mothers register with the Tamil Nadu Widows & Destitute Women Welfare Board to access government schemes for financial and social support.
In addition, Single Mother Care Cards were distributed, enabling access to healthcare services at the Mother Teresa Health Center. This holistic approach ensures sustainable livelihood and improved well-being for single mothers and their families, reaffirming the Foundation’s dedication to uplifting marginalized communities.
