Mother Teresa Health Center brought health care to the door step and provided quality healthcare to those without easy access to it. A camp was conducted in Devadhanam Village of The Thiruvarur district.

The Mother Teresa Foundation, through The Health Center provided free doctor consultation and free medicines to the underprivileged people of the village of Devadhanam in the Thiruvarur district who cannot afford basic medical facilities. The medical camp was a lifeline for many people who suffer from various illnesses and have little to no access to healthcare facilities. The doctors and medical staff provided the necessary medical attention to the patients, which will help in reducing the morbidity and mortality rate in the area.

During the medical camp, the doctors and medical staff checked the blood pressure, haemoglobin levels, random blood sugar, height, weight, body vitals, biothesiometer and conduct electrocardiogram (ECG) tests. These tests helped in identifying any underlying health issues that the patients might have. The results of these tests were used by the doctors to provide appropriate medical treatment to the patients. The medical camp also helped in creating awareness about the importance of regular health checkups and preventive measures to maintain good health.
