Fr. Saminathan local coordinator of The Mother Teresa Foundation in the Rameswaram Island handed over the support material to beneficiaries of our Community Development Program. Under this program, 11 families were provided with rice and necessary grocery items. This is an ongoing program and aid is provided consistently and regularly.

All of the beneficiaries are single mothers with 3 or 4 children with no stable means of income. They are only employed as daily coolies or seasonal workers.
