State Bank of India which has been providing support for the upliftment of livelihood of the vulnerable through CSR grant over the years has donated fully equipped airconditioned Ambulance at a cost of Rs. 25 Lakhs to Mother Teresa Health Centre run by Mother Teresa Foundation, Thanjavur.
Shri. Radhakrishna Rayabharam, Chief General Manager, State Bank of India, Chennai Circle inaugurated the Ambulance Project and handed over the key to Dr. AR. Savarimuthu, Chairman, Mother Teresa Foundation and his team and commissioned the Ambulance service in the function held in the Mother Teresa Foundation premises at Thanjavur on 18.02.2022.
During his address the chief guest placed on record his deep sense of appreciation for the charitable services being implemented by the Foundation especially in the medical field for the cause of the underprivileged communities which he acclaimed as a true human service in lines with that of Nobel Laurate St. Mother Teresa. He further added that the Ambulance provided by State Bank of India would be of helping hand to them and wish them further success.
Shri. Vattipalli Sivakumar, Deputy General Manager, Trichy, Shri. Alwin Martin Joseph, Regional Manager, Thanjavur and Shri. Venkatesh, Assistant General Manager, Trichy along with galaxy of dignitaries from State Bank of India graced the occasion. The arrangements for the function were made by the officers of State Bank of India and the Trustees and staff members of the Foundation.
