State Bank of India Partners with The Mother Teresa Foundation

The Mother Teresa Foundation operates The Mother Teresa Health Centre through which it addresses the health needs of the people and make quality modern medical care available at affordable costs. Free treatment is given to the underprivileged communities. On witnessing the services rendered in the health sector by The Mother Teresa Health Centre, State Bank of India provided a fully equipped Ambulance under CSR grant worth ₹25 Lakhs to attend to emergent medical needs to save patients in time. Shri. Radha Krishna, Chief General Manger of State Bank of India, Chennai Circle inaugurated the Ambulance Project in the presence of other dignitaries of State Bank of India on 18th February 2022 at The Mother Teresa Foundation premises in Thanjavur. The addition of the ambulance provided by State Bank of India would go a long way in serving the patients who need immediate medical attention. This is one of the most useful infrastructural improvements for our Health Centre and we are very grateful to State Bank of India for their noble gesture.
