1st February, A Day to Remember…

Mother Teresa founded Missionaries of Charity in Kolkata on 7th October 1950 primarily to rehabilitate the dying people, lepers and deserted children craving for love and affection. Over whelmed by the noble services rendered by Mother, people all over the world requested her to extend her helping hand outside India. Pope John Paul 23rd recognizing her services canonized Missionaries of Charity to rendered services globally. The first Missionaries of Charity outside India was commissioned in 1965 in Venezuela, South America.
